As time went by and we had coffee shop meetings I found two things happening that just bugged me. Don't get me wrong, he was very good at making me feel as though he was in control and working for me and was confident with my case.
A friend of a friend recommended my next "disaster". I quickly put the feelers out that I was looking for a lawyer. 8000 Baht later I realised this guy was not for me. The first I quickly discovered was not only young and inexperienced, he was also an opportunist with his fees. I found Actio consultancy with a google search because I was after legal services having already been involved in an traffic accident in Thailand and having already used the services of two lawyers. In this case however, I have decided to write one because similarly to tipping a waiter, I am happy to if the service or the food or both justified it.
